One of my favorite comics and stories of all time is Clive Barker's Cabal AKA:Nightbreed. I just really liked how the monsters are the good guys. I've always drawn monsters, I just find it more entertaining than drawing mundane reality. My mom refers to it as "that sick shit you draw." I don't really see most of my monsters as evil, just disgruntled.
This one here I like 'cause I like how the slime turned out. I put the human mask on a lot of monsters, it's how they blend in.
